Default Would a water pik remove bead release?

I don't have one, or I'd just do an experiment, but I wonder if it would remove it. Someone mentioned having some problems that made cleaning hard for them, and I got to thinking about it.
Maybe I'll watch for one at a thrift store to check it out if nobody knows.

Someone mentioned a water pick for cleaning hollow beads. If you try it let us know how it works.

If I come across one before I forget about it, I'll buy it & give it a try.

Yep! You use the Dremel bit to clean the holes, but the Water Pik to shoot out the residue.

It's not going to clean off the bead release from the bead.

Agree with Kevan. A Water Pik does not have enough pressure for the task. Pressure would have to be in the 1000 PSI range in order to be effective, as a guess.

Had some bead releases that required the use of a diamond bit for removal for the bead hole.. i.e. no longer use that brand.....

I use a very easy bead release remover, you don't need any strength to make the hole crisp clean, like this bead:

It's the Jock's Release Remover, I used my jar for almost 2 years now (and I clean a lot of beads) and now it's time to buy a new one.

I'll save my money on the water pik then, and pass the word on the release remover, thanks!
Anouk, that is an amazing bead!

What it jock's release remover? I am guessing a liquid cause you say jar. Is it hazardous or safe to pour down the sink?

I would love to try some but don't think I can figure out the order page with some help.

I think at one time the Jock's Release Remover was available from the Etsy shop. It is not in the shop now.

http://www.etsy.com/shop/SunshineJoyce

Guess you will have to order from the site: http://www.jocks-glas.com/index1.html

Wonder if we should try to start a buy in the GS and save on a little shipping?
