OxyContin ?
Gotta love auto correct! Of course I mean Oxycons. Just can't fix the title.
I recently began using 2 5lpm OxyCons together.
Both units were just refurbished and do produce oxygen. After about an hour, I get a low oxygen alarm on one of them. On this particular unit, the sieve beds were redone, so for now I'm assuming that is not the problem.
If the two units are not at exactly the same outflow, could I be getting a backflow from one to the other that could cause this situation?
I have three weeks left on my warranty, but I don't want to go through the hassle of sending it out if it could be something that I'm doing wrong.
Thanks for the help.

Maybe try running each separately to see if either alarms after an hour or so?

Could there be something blocking the intake filter?

I don't believe the intake filter is blocked and it looks clean.
The reset button takes care of it for a while but not indefinitely.
I'll try running it unhooked up and see what happens.

Put backflow valves on your connector and it should solve the issue, if that's really the issue. (Both concentrators should have the same pressure, if not, you need backflow valves.)

Oh whew! I was going to say. Lol. One dose is for onset pain. The secondary dose would be for controlling the level of pain.

No, it's not fixed yet.
I hooked the troublesome oxycon up by itself yesterday and it only ran for an hour before the alarm went off. I think it must have something to do with the sieve beds that were just redone. It only has 7600 hours on it so it is going back to the shop this week, as soon as I know the other one can keep me working in the meantime.

best idea yet!
Actually though, it seems to have worked itself out with some tweaking of output on the other unit. If I have anymore issues, I will be taking Shawnette's advise and putting check valves in.
