northstar color reference
these are all just clear encased with color, striped with clear, twisted and pulled, one wrap of twistie on a mandrel encased with two wraps of clear.All annealed for 30 minutes at 1050
northstar amber purple:
northstar green exotic
northstar caramel
Northstar green amber purple
Northstar Aurora

This is fantastic Suzanne...thanks soooo much. Is it okay to save these images ??? For future reff ?
Edited to add - were they all flame struck ? And when you say striped with clear...how many stripes of clear ? The whole rod striped or just a few stripes. Sorry, I just like to keep really accurate records. My torch isnt set up yet and I cant try this out for myself just yet.

these where not flamestruck, just struck in the oven. If I flamestrike the Amber purple they become more purple .
I used a 10 mm clear rod wich I encased in color ( no gaps) and then I used a 3 mm stringer to stripe around the whole thing ( aproximatly 5-7 stripes), and then I twisted the whole thing into 5 mm canes.
Off course you can save the pictures , I will also add them to my beadartists gallery ,I also started a GA color reference chart there
