Reichenbach glass
I bought 4 different Reichenbach cane greens from OCR and have been playing with the Reseda green #R-24c. This glass is so green it eats all the other colors in the bead. Any recommendations on how to use or tone this glass down would be appreciated.

Encase it in clear and pull it into a stringer?

Thanks Barbra, I'll give that a try.

Do you mean that that the color is too deep for other colors to show up? Reichenbach transparents are super saturated so to overcome that issue, make a base of white or clear, then encase with the R-24. The same with pulling stringer. Use it to encase white or clear and then pull into stringer.

Thanks Shawnette, so your saying put the green on the out side of the clear or the white. I'll give that a try tomorrow. Yes their colors are dark, I am learning as I go, I discovered furnace glass is more intense than other soft glass.

Yes. Make sure the encasement is fairly thin. (Basically, make a White Heart.)
