The Flow Tut Tease
If you are a Lampworker and do not already get...The Flow Magazine... then shame on you! If you didn't Know about the Flow...well now you do!
When I first started on the torch I would have gladly paid 20.00 a trick.
More than a decade later you can buy a magazine that has several tricks all the time.
The Flow...in my mind at least did cater more to the Boro side of things in the past. Nowadays it seems like a very nice and even mix for ALL lampers.
Here is a tease from an up coming murrini tut I have. The finished one has several pics...and text. And as a fellow lamper in Tucson said " THATS INGENIOUS"......God that felt good. If I am so smart why do I start a sentence with And ....huh...tell me...I dare ya...PEACE

It's like making pastry with glass!
I HAVE to try this - just looking at it makes me itchy to be at the torch. I experimented with some long flat paddles of clear awhile back for an encasing technique. Lots of fun and now I have an excuse to mess with that some more.

When my prescription glasses started to take a dive downhill, I used yellow stick 'em putty to help keep the lenses in place with electrical tape. (must've run out of duct tape). Oh, it was extremely attractive.

God!!! lol...It took me a second about the Duct tape......I have had those same Aura Lenses for over a decade now...WOW...
They weren't exactly my style when I first got them..........nothing a little time and duct tape wont fix!
Also I use grey duck tape because it is the only color I can find that goes with my beard. It was that or blue painters tape.

Blue Painter's tape for the 60+ only...it matches our blue hair!
