Default What Is This???

We need a thread where you can ask questions about something that you've ended up with and have no idea of what it is or what you do with it.
Ok so I will go first

I received this mandrel in a glass studio buyout and I'm not at all sure what it is and what you make on it. Can anyone tell me what it is?

You could put it in your dremel for a bead release stirrer?

It looks similar to a ribbon mandrel that Inspiration was making a few years ago. I had one, but never had much success with it.

David it is 2 pieces of metal or somthing shaped around the mandrel then revited and welded together.
Nicole thats not a bad idea!
Karen that might be what it is,
Sue's I went to your etsy and looked at your ribbon beads awesome eye candy you have going on there. I think I will dip it and play it with and see what I come up with. Hey if I can't get it to work making ribbon beads I could go back to Nicole's idea.
Thanks everyone.
