Default Looking for a "silver" glass

Morning!
I want to add just a few dots of bling to some of my beads - having a hard time getting my hands on the DH test silvers....
any other suggestions?
Thanks
Laura

Isn't the new Helios due out on 14th meant to go silver?

For a few dots of bling, Triton is good. Reduces quite nicely to a mirror finish.

Dark Silver Plum can also give you metallics, just not as shiny.

Triton or Dark silver Plum are both good choices and neither contain lead.

Triton is a great choice for that bling.

I see alot of folks use Aurae to add some "bling" to their beads, is it easy to use?

Aurae is easy peasy for bling! I use it often.

I think Triton is a good place to start. It's very hardy, can take several reheats and re-reductions and still come up shiny in the final reduction. It also doesn't affect the base glass as much as Aurae, which is good but "sheds" a lot of silver when reduced.

I'm really sorry if I'm being dense, but what do you mean?

The silver from the Aurae is more likely to fume the rest of the rest of the bead, discoloring it.

I think what she means if that it fumes onto your base glass

Is there any special test silver you are after? I have a bunch and would be willing to sell a bit for you to try. One of my favorites is the green luster one I believe it is the OX. I also have some of the OO ones too.

Uh, no, you are definitely not dense. I'm forever picking the wrong words. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks Deanna, for describing it in plain English.
