1 to 1.25 inches is wha the Bravo can comfortably handle, you can make 2 inch marbles it just takes time and learning how to keep your heat base. Once a 2 inch marble cools down it's hard with the Bravo to get all the heeat needed back into the center, it can be done but it takes time.

I would say, 1 to 1.25 would be on the low end. The Bravo would be more of a 1.25 to 1.625 marble torch with 1 3/8 to 1 1/2 being the normal production range.

A one inch marble can be made on any small torch....

either a used CC (anywhere from $500 for the sargent to $800 for a carlisle) or a Phantom.

in this area you definitely get what you pay for. Higher end torches are better performers and they have much higher resale values. Why not wait a little and save some more?

I have a Beth Champion...and i am not exaggerating when i say the heat on the outer fire is simply incredible. I just dont think the Phantom comes close to that heat. 2.5 inch or better would be easy.
