knob roller
I am considering a knob roller to make knobs for my kitchen cabinets. I think I'll need a larger one (30 mm) vs the smaller one (20mm). Does anyone have experience with making knobs? How much glass is that thing gonna take? Will my cricket be able to handle it? I also batch anneal (kiln is located outside in the shed) so is this even a feasible plan? TIA!

I don't think something as large as a knob should be batch annealed. I don't think it will survive. Even if it looks OK there could be internal cracks that might cause the knob to break in your hand.
I used Zooziis various knob presses to make knobs in my kitchen, 3 bathrooms and laundry room, so I have made a lot of knobs!

I agree, 30mm is too large to cool then batch anneal.

so, out of curiosity, what is the biggest you'd go for batch annealing???

I just got the 30. I haven't tried it yet but it is giant! Tons of glass. Definitely too big to batch anneal.

I've heard around half an inch or small is safe to batch.

I've batch appealed hollows that are larger, and some sculptures and barrels/ tubes. Lentils get iffy, but most things seem OK. I use the bubbles instead of a blanket and plenty of insurance heat at the end, which seems to help.
So, about the knobs- workable on a cricket? Batch annealing the smaller sizes? (The larger size probably isn't doable right now, but I've got more ideas rolling around in my head...)
