Default December Show & Tell

Here is a new ornament design, a little fancier than an icicle. I'm excited about this new design and plan to make these for gifts this year.

Icicles! Such a pleasure to make. And fun to share with friends and family!

Mary ... your icicles are beautiful (look very natural) and I love your custom made wire hangers for them. Simple but very elegant!!

Thanks! Coming from you two, that means a lot!

I found those really great little boxes for them at Gems On Display.
http://gemsondisplay.com They have some nice tray sizes. They close with a little magnet flap. And I think they look pretty nice for 6 bucks! (In case anyone is looking for packaging! It took me forever to figure out how to box them to give them as gifts.)

Merry Christmas ya'll!

Torchgirl - Nice Julie! Mine is proudly displayed on the front of my tree.
Jonesgirl - Cool pendant. Eyes are so much fun to make.
Marcel - LOVE the crushed opal. Is it hard to work with? I ask because using regular opals can be tricky - mostly making sure you don't capture air bubbles which can crack.

Just the kind of work I have come to expect from you Marcel, beautiful.
Love those opal chips, would that be gilson opal chips? Over the summer someone gave me a big one, could I crush it up?
And look at that bear with the chips on him, he is smiling, see the smile?
And those ornaments and icicles are so lovely, good work everyone.
