Default Scorpion on 10 LPM oxygen concentrator

Here is a video my husband and I made of the Scorpion being run on a 10 LPM Regalia. I hope you like it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9geqaBmZS8s

Um, I think I should warn you that it's a little racey in parts.

I love these videos, Kimberly. Thanks again.

Thanks, Pam.

BTW, I should mention that the orange streaks you see in the flame every now and then are from dust and lint in the air getting sucked into the flame. A lot of it came from my T-shirt, and every time I moved up close to the torch, it made the streaks.

Should have taken your T-shirt off then Kimberly. Just kidding. I didn't even notice the orange streeaks. Very impressive results using a 10 LPM concentrator. I just hope I have enough saved up when the call comes that my torch is ready for shipment.

You've done a wonderful job filming the flame characteristics of this torch. Thanks Kim.

nice video! I can't wait to get my torch fired up... I am waiting on hoses for it. I need to Y it together since I do not have a foot pedal yet.

Great job, Kimberly. I have enjoyed both videos you've made. Are you going to do one on an M/EX-15 for comparison's sake?

I know my next torch will be a Scorpion, but I don't know when I'll be able to swing it. For now I'm happy with my Bobcat.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Diane, I have an M-20 that I have tested and found to put out 13 psi (what I have found several of the M-15/EX-15 to put out when they were tested as part of my concentrator analysis project). I dialed it down to 8 LPM (the LPMs the M-15/EX-15 should put out) to mimic an M-15/EX-15 and filmed it running the Scorpion.

You guys crack me up. That is one well done video, and it made my day.
Thanks! I hope mine comes soon! GTT makes the best torches, and my
Regalia is the best oxycon I have ever owned. IMHO.
Rock on!

Kimberly, any idea of how it will perform with a single OGSI-15? I don't need those super big flames!

It might be similar to the machine I have that puts out 13 psi, if I dial it down to 7 or 8 LPM. I will be putting that video up, soon (maybe by Tuesday).

Kimberly:

Enjoyed the video.

Did notice that some also post their video's for mobile devices to keep the bandwidth lower. As an example, your 8:43 video took 20 minutes to download on a 320 K DSL line.....

I posted a mobile device version of my first video in addition to the regular version, and noted it as such. Because the mobile version only had about one tenth of the views the other version had, I decided to post the next videos in the regular format, first, and then go back and repost smaller versions as time permitted.

FWIW, I do check them out once I post them to make sure that they play fairly smoothly. I do not have a super-fast connection (in fact, according to the YouTube Video Speed History, I'm pretty slow) and my 8:43 video took about 8:50 for me to watch. It took nearly an hour to upload.
