Default 16mm rod on a national 8m?

Ive been making implosion marbles and pendants using 1mm rd on my national 8m Id like to move up to a larger size and was wondering if my torch would be able to work with 16mm rod?

A National 8m has different tips that range from tiny to large. If you're using a #1 tip, then I'd probably say no. If you're using an htc-4, then you're golden.

I have a regular CC and 9-16mm is what I work with all of the time. It can definitely handle 16mm no problem.
