Default Lauscha black over white core rods

I recently purchased a lot of glass in the garage sale and this was in it. What do I use it for? I can't figure out why black would be over white.

Thanks,
Bretta

It gives you a marbling effect of black, white and greys.....

Look at this -
http://www.frantzartglass.com/index....oducts_id=6437

it's effetre and black with sky blue but same principle.

The Lauscha is not a true black - its more of a dark purple - ABR imagery sells it for 39.95 a pound, so you may get more of the purply greys marbled through.

It is actually dark purple over white. If you go here

Black and White

and look at the photo on the bottom of the page you will see what it can do. Bead by Carol Anne Beckman.

That was very good advice, Paula! I used it like a normal rod and got these results:

Pretty! It's the first Lauscha I've ever used and I liked the consistency and flow of it.

I appreciate the help

Thanks a bunch,
Bretta

Great. I do remember Carol Anne saying something about letting it fall on itself!
