Kiln supply sources?
Greetings,
I just purchased an AIM model # 84 kiln with the bead door.
For the life of me (and reading posts regarding kilns on L.E.) I am having a hard time finding a source for all the supplies. The instruction book that came with it only discusses set up and does not give details on the on-going usage such as how often to apply kiln wash, etc. It came with a small bag of wash.
I'd also like to try glass fusing since it is multi-use and appears to be large enough to do some small work.
Since I live in a somewhat rural area (and gas prices are really cutting into our driving to the closest city, Madison, WI) I'd like a source or two I can order from on-line. Ebay kilns and supplies seem pretty much new kilns or old stuff that one can only pick up.
If anyone has a good on-line source or two they are willing to provide (and recommend) I would sure appreciate that. I may need to pick up a good, used book or two as well.
Thanks, Ken

Thanks to both of you for the endorsement on this company; I've already bookmarked their site. I need supplies for both slumping and annealing and they appear to have all that "stuff". Ken

Try calling Chris or Todd at
Colored Sands. They are the closest to you and should be able to get anything you need to you at a good price.
