Default My new ventilation

Here's a photo of my new ventilation system and worktable. I've been reorganizing my glass in cool metal 12" deep cabinets I got on Ebay (32 4x4" cubbies), and will post that after Bead and Button.

Heres mine and my ventilation (Flexible hose) is just pushed away so we could get some pictures.
The dark dungeon picture has the metal stuff that keeps all my extra rods and odds locked up in single file.. Somehow my Siamese finds a way to break in and sleep on my prized Seafoam Vetro. I don't know what her deal is. She must know I lust over that glass.

Thanks guys!

Nancy----I love your PVC across the back with your rods! Everything looks so nicely placed and roomy. I'm such a slob that everything winds up clumped together!

I've been typing up labels with glass manufacturer's code (i.e. BT Bullseye Transparent), number and color name to use on my cubbies. I'm sure I'm missing a lot, but once I'm done I'll figure out how to put it somewhere on this forum for others to download and print out. (I'm using little return address labels, there are around 80 labels per page).

I've done all of Effetre, the Lauscha I can find info for right now, Bullseye, and current odd lots from Vetrofond. I don't think I'll be doing Boro labels. Geesh, I guess I should do it for my own GG Glass! I wish I could find a site that lists EVERYTHNG!

Hey Gail, I don't usually ask other gals this question, but what are your measurements? (You know, ventilation box-wise?)

Gail,

I also don't know if I could work in a box type situation either. I am in serious need of an updated system though.

The opening of the box is 2' x 2' (so the interior is a bit bigger than a 2x2x2 cube. I'm gradually getting better with the box. It definitely helps to KNOW that every nasty thing is getting sucked right outside! I just remember that every time my mandrel is a bit too long and I'm contorting myself to get it over the torch! Let me see if I can find the glass storage pictures....
