Default for all who responded to "selling everything"

I would like to all fly you to Italy for supper tonight...Ziti, Sausage, Meatballs, Garlic Bread and fine Italian Wines BUT, I can't. Your words of encouragement almost brought tears to my eyes and one posting put a large SMILE on my face (you know who you are, you offered me alot on money for the entire sha-bang). So what did I do, well I printed out these postings from people I don't even know, hung them on my work area, locked myself in for several days, took tons of Advil & Tylenol and went to work. This has been the toughest 7 weeks I've ever been though and I want to say THANKS to all for all kind words, my beads are acrually looking like BEADS!!! They are round(most of them), they have a hole, they are not cracked! I will keep my postings up on the wall for a few years and remember my face-less friends!!

Once again, too many thanks to all
Brenda

P.S. I am going to try to post a pic or 2 later, to show all how you helped me.

That's wonderful news Brenda! I didn't post to you because I find myself as frustrated as you were and I didn't want any negative vibes rubbing off of me and onto you.

I'm glad to hear that you are sticking it out though

You go girl!
It's a struggle - even for us who can make a round bead.
But MAN! What a great feeling to open up a kiln and see
all the goodies. Granted, it doesn't happen everytime.
Many days I open a kiln to find I've made mud beads again,
but THAT makes the times I get a whole bunch (or even just
that ONE special bead) all the sweeter.

Keep it up, live for the small joys. I still can't make a matching "set"
to save my life, but man o man I can make GREAT focals.
Experiment and find where your strengths lie. Post lots of pictures here,
both for comments/critiques/compliments and to better you skill
at photography. And most of all - have fun playing with fire!

I am so happy you will be staying with us. It is not easy at first, but it is so worth it each time you get to say "I made that", when someone says they like a piece you have on. I am sure when I say this, anything we can help you with, we are willing. I do not know very much about lampworking yet, but I am learning as fast as I can and I just keep trying new things and it just keeps getting better and better.

Good. Remember everything you've learned, and you can teach me, because by the time you're good at all this, I'll still suck at boro.

Yes Paula, I already emailed you and now just waiting for your web-post with the specs!!!!!! I'll be there and my beads are actually coming out "fantastic", I sat behind my torch for an entire 48 hours, just like prison, no food, no water, just work. The beads are now coming out pretty good, round, solidly encased and really worth something.

Anyways, we'll see you and Andrew in december!!!

Brenda
P.S. still need help though

I actually just tried boro this weekend and love it.
Well I had tried it once before and thought I was boiling it but it turned out that some Moretti clear was mixed with my pyrex and that was the problem Sure wish I had about 6 months of vacation a year so that I can play!
