Default Tonbo-Dama style canes possible in boro?

Hello,
I've been falling in love with the look of Tonbo-Dama flowers. I'm on the verge of ordering some books and videos on the techniques, I'm really intrigued. I only work in boro, though. Will I be frustrating myself, or is it possible to construct super-detailed flower canes like these in boro? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Kelly

Kelly, you sure can do them in boro. I have a tutorial for them in Satake in either the Flow or Glassline, I forget which. I'd be happy to help you if you need some advice.

Yes it is possible. I worked on some of that style cane a while back. I found thin layers of white powder works great for petals.
