Default Maroon Glass

I need to make some MAROON beads but it looks like I will need to make a purchase for that color! I tried mixing colors and got mud. What is the best match for a maroon? I normally work in 104. Thanks!

Is there much difference between Effetre and Vetrofond "red purple"?
I am also looking for a good maroon.....I have requests for college football colors.

Here's a pic of both. Effetre is on the left, Vet on the right. I think the Vet looks more on the brown side. But it may vary by batch.

Try opaque red encased with amber. It is a beautiful maroon!
