Default Optically Clear Glass?

I just had a major score today 13" flat lap 12" polishing lap polisher and a 14" drop arm saw all from a guy that did the coolest faceted optical glass pyramids blocks and many other shapes they are just amazing. With all the equipment I also got all the glass blanks he had. It is lots and lots of glass I'd say maybe 800 pounds maybe even more. the blanks are square, rectangle, pyramids, free form facet shapes. Clear, blue, green, lavender I don't really want to do cold work on that scale and wondering what I could do with the glass. Could it be broken into chunks and torch worked? My other thought is to sell it but not sure where or who would want it.

Does anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks,

John

Some people are like a Slinky... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs.

Congrats on the score John. Do you know the coe of the glass?

I'm sure it could be torch worked but what a pain to break it all up.

I imagine glassblowers might be interested.

I can think of one person to ask, Bob Stephan. He'd most likely know the answers to your questions.
