Default quick release

Do I need a quick release?
I used one in europe. I am just using my one torch now. A Mini CC. My propane tank is just out the window on my porch. I have a flashback arrestor on my propane line. I will be disconecting the line each time I am done torching as I can't leave my things set up all the time.
I was reading in a glass book where the author said it was a good idea to have a quick release to cut off the propane source if any problems arose.
What do you think?
Otherwise I think I would just have one to for convienence.

I think a quick release is mainly used to switch out torches without turning off the propane supply, but it sounds like it would work for what you are needing it for. Why do you have to disconnect the line though?

I will not be leaving my area set up all of the time. so I will need to disconnect the propane line when I am done at the end of the day.

I think if you just want to cut off the propane, it would be easier, safer, and cheaper to install a shut-off valve then a quick-couple.
