Default Oxygen concentrator

Well, my oxygen concentrator kicked the bucket. It was still under warrenty, so I got a replacement. The replacement doesn't work either. I am ready to send it back, but if I can find someone in the Seattle Area to take a look at this thing and potentially fix it, I will hold onto it. When my original one worked it was a dream.

Does anyone know someone here in Washington?

Thanks...

Default difference between medical oxy con and flamework oxy con

Hi,

I'm not sure where to post this. What is the difference between an oxy con for medical use and one for flamework?

Thanks,
Namaste

Overall none. Now for the however. There are some firms that make concentrators for lampworking. Generally more output in LPM's and perhaps PSI. Cost about 1 to 2 K.

And there are some commercial firms that make units that are very suitable for lampworking. Cost in the range of 5 to 8 K.

Most use the medical ones. They produce, for the most part, 5 LPM at 5 PSI. Some will do 9 to 10 PSI. Used cost anywhere from $100 to $500. And new generally below 1 K.
