Default LBS (Jon and Renate): Good folk!

There was a thread in the bathroom a couple days ago from someone who claimed bad service and was not very nice about it.

I added my one, and only one, less than perfect experience with LBS, but made sure to mention that I had ordered since and had great service.

I got a PM from Jon last night appologizing for my experience. It was well over a year ago even.

He did not have to do that, since I had already stated that I had ordered since and had great service. He was not trying to save a customer or anything since he didn't lose me...he just did a stand up thing.

I still recommend them to people and will most definitely continue to do so...thank you for going the extra mile for just one little buyer, me!

I love Jon & Renate from LB. I ordered quite a bit of stuff several months back and both of them called me to make sure everything was okay, let me know about any back orders and even gave me hints on making some beads I was interested in, oh - and called to make sure that I knew that the pyrex rod couldn't be mixed with 104 (I needed one to use as a punty). I bet I spoke to the two of them more than an hour overall. They are definitely one of my favorite suppliers.

Both great people . If Renate was rude to anyone they probably had it comming . I think sometimes we forget that these wonderful people are entitled to have a family life ,inspite of all our glass demands .
Jon " making it right " does not surprise me in the least little bit .

I think this particular customer is well known for being a problem with quite a few vendors.

I had a package delivered today and when I opened it, I was speechless and overwhelmed.

Jon and Renate sent me the nicest gifts:
* The biggest bottle of bead release I have ever seen
* a bunch of the R4 Double Amber Purple glass that I have never tried
* Silver foil
* Copper foil
* 2 squares of fine silver mesh (also never tried)
* 2 squares of medium silver mesh (again, never tried)

I was so touched when Jon sent me the PM and never expected such a generous gift.....thank you so much Jon and Renate, you guys are tops in suppliers who go the extra mile!
