Here is a quick pick of one I just finished polishing. The red is darker than the pic shows, and the opal is really flashy...much better than in the picture. I am finding opals very difficult to photograph.

my 2 cents
These were fun - sort of on mandrel wig-wags
Momka Apache
Pic is a bit blurry - new camera still trying to figure it all out - and need a light box
This are test beads - ACME Orange - all it does is burn and bubble - but if you just ignore it and incase it it makes cute little bubbly pinkish orange beads - sort of like champagne bubbles

Great work everyone! Love all of the creativity and beauty in here.
I've finally gotten my tools and made some more pendants. These came out much better, I think. The Handy Andys really are a must-have!

Love that last one! I have been trying to do that in a marble, but I keep either overfuming or underfuming. I feel like goldilocks trying to find the amount that is just right. LOL

Thanks...yeah finding that right amount is what it's all about.
believe it or not that last one is an iside out honeycomb gone wrong. Instead of making it a teardrop pendant I squashed it into a maria. Made a really cool effect though...kind looks like earth with some nebula like thing goin on.

Thanks RG! The black one actually captured the personallity of my majestic Hannoverian gelding Whispered Dreams. He has alot of presence and elegance and is also a fun-loving gamester! I think the piece really reflects his spirit and character!
I do also have some friends who raise Freisans, they are wonderful horses! The drive them and also ride Dressage with me and my horse.

Awesome...Dressage is very cool. I used to ride English Hunt seat for a bit doing jumps, but fell in love with western because of comfort. The last girl i dated...her mother taught riding lessons with about 28 horses. I Loved every minute i could spend with them.
Raising Freisans is great...expensive...but very rewarding.
