Hi Lea!
Great, the right one has a lot of depth to it, and great colour!
Definition is also a question of the colour you use. I like to use dark blue and dark green frit for these, because they are so dense, they do not loose colour underneath the encasing.
Secondly it could be a question how much frit you apply to your initial gather - too little and it will bleed and become very translucent, too much and you won't see the individual lines.
I think you did the twisting and applying very well, I can see the lacelike look clearly.
