Default OxyCon operating temperatures?

Quick question - my studio is not heated, anyone know the minimum temperature I can operate an oxycon at?

I found when my concentrators are cold they didnt work very well so I put a heater between them and turned it on to heat them up a bit before I turned them on then ran them with the heater running....it really helped to get them running better in the colder weather.

That's interesting... please help me understand "running better".

How cold was it when the heater helped, and...

What did you see or hear that was better when it was heated?
