CIM Evil Queen and Thai Orchid don't reduce, as far as I know. I don't know about Poi and Grape Ape.

You can soak the silvery ones in drain cleaner and it takes it back to normal purple.

Effetre purple 254 is pretty…
Oh, if only I could get it to stay that lovely bluish purple color that shows up on the rod end!

I think the effetre dark violet is pretty, but I agree that the CiM Thai Orchid is great, and it's compatible with effetre and vetrofond.

mmm love that thai orchid, and it gets darker the longer you work it. I also used to mix ink blue-violet and periwinkle.

I like the violet dark from moretti. 591039 I have a tendency to put it over white because it's such a dark intense purple. http://www.frantzartglass.com/index....oducts_id=3154 Angelique

I'd go for Reich's Lilac. Its a brilliant colour that stays the way it looks in the rod - purple.

CiM Eggplant is a great saturated opaque/opal purple. And CiM Simply Berry is a delicious transparent deep purple.
