Default Looking for non striking red.

Is there a true transparent red that is non striking? The striking reds I have used get darker the longer I work it and some of the other reds I have used turn mucky and cloudy and do not stay transparent.

I've used Lauscha 219 transparent red that I bought at Flamedame - (the 6-8mm rods) and they stay a true transparent red - perfect for hearts. I haven't tried the smaller rods yet, but the larger ones are a lovely clear red.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Thanks so much. That's exactly what I am looking for a red for hearts. I will check with Flame Dame.

And if you're ever wanting to use a truly beautiful striking red, there's a gorgeous Ornela czech colour called "ruby" (Not "garnet" which is much darker) - the number is 9009. The rod looks yellow, but it strikes easily, looks very dark when hot, but cools to a stunning, bright deep red.
I bought it from the Ombos place awhile ago, but now it looks like someone in the states is selling czech rods, so that will be a real plus.

I'll post a picture of both the Lauscha 219 and an ornela bead when I can figure out how to get the photo off my phone.
Cheers.
