Smile Question about Venting

We are installing venting out the window. I have the hood from ABR Imagery. We want to install the vent pipe out the window and be able to close the window when I'm not using it. I have the 10inch expandable hose. How can and where do I find something to support the fan and the hose and still roll in back and forth to the window? We have the huge hood mounted on the wall and have toggle bolts holding the hood. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. On the venting out the window for a retackable type system
Thanks,
Janet

Janet, buy a chrome rolling shelf unit. You can attach the fan and the ducting to the underside of the top shelf and it will back right up to the window, the added bonus is oodles of more storage too!! The chrome racks roll easy and are heavy duty enough to hold lots of glass.

You can put the shelves any height so it could be made
to fit your system exactly.

You could put a plexiglass panel on the back of it to attach the ducting to and maybe a rubber boot around the whole thing so it would be air tight up against the window to help with heat and cooling.

I am venting out a basement egress window and my DH set me up with some detachable sections of vent piping so we can close the window when not in use. I posted a bunch of pictures in this thread. Maybe it will give you some additional ideas.
