kiln - what to do?
I'm in a position where I can think about either getting a digital controller to add to my old kiln or buy new. I sure am tired of staying awake just to twitch the dial about.
This is what I've got
And I'll keep it no matter what - I've got an itch to try slumping & it would do well for that. But it's really not economical for just annealing.
So - recommendations?

I agree, for the money Glass Hive is a really good deal...and it sure doesn't hurt to have a back-up kiln so hanging onto your current kiln's a great idea.

Seems to be unanimous. Darn. I just missed the sale they had going.
thanks for the replies - very helpful to know it seems to be the choice by far.

they have sales all the time. just FYI there is usually at least a 4 week wait time on a glass hive kiln.
