Default Concentrator question

I might have the chance to get a used Devilbliss serie 515 concentrator from 2001 and wonder if there is still enough life left to worth it. How can I check it to know if it will do the job with my minor?

I am so eager to hook my minor that I am losing sleep over this

well, I have one concentrator (AirSep) that have 2000 hours and the other one (a Devilbliss) have about 6000 and still running very very well...
I think your concentrator might be a good buy.
Good luck!! If you have any other questions, feel free to email me!

Concentrators are designed to run 24/7 for long periods of time... Some are still working perfectly after 20,000 to 25,000 hours....( 833 to 1041 days) ....

Obviously one with less hours is more desireable... I would be real cautions with one that has high number of hours..

nahhh if the machine is tested and in good working order, hours dont really matter. You could theoretically take a machine with 90k hours, rebuild it, and it will be fine. I have yet to see one with that many hours though.....about 60k hours is the highest I've seen lol

Well, the seller assured me it work perfectly and they always had it serviced by the seller. They'll give me all the bills and papers with it. I'll see it tomorrow morning so I'll know how many hours then.
Thanks for your help

I got it! I didn't even check the hours on it, have to find where. It was serviced every month by the original seller company, all the bills and papers with it. I have plenty of filters and even have all the nose thingys still packed and unused. Now to get the fittings and hose.
