He is still hot bow W0W was that just fun!!!
I had been wanting this one for a long time so thanks Jen, its a winner!

I need to take a break and torch tonight! This seems like a nice stress-free tut to try!
I like the idea of hanging some on the Christmas tree!

Do it MaryBeth! Its just too fun!
I had to make another one so I just made him a girlie friend to "hang" with
I used SD Lady Slipper frit, a pretty uboros turq blue and cranberry pink. I hope she turns out as well as he did.
Oh and I gave him feets too, she doesn't have any though. She will be perched I guess. heh. I'll post pics later of Pete and Petunia

I'd love to see your pics! I need to go back and read the tutorial again and see if I can adapt it to an idea I have.

I will....I made P & P a baby. Now that got tricky since she was little. Made heat control a real challenge.
I want to see what you come up with too, I am intrigued to see what you have in mind!
Its really easy to expand on. Each one of mine has a different aspect. Feets, tail and the baby has a little...um..whatcha callit on her head. Oh, a lil crest.
A rewarding bit of time at the torch, I had such fun!
Ok, here is the family.
Excuse the blanket fuzz and bad pic, night time here makes for bad pics.
Lotsa PPP in the future....and now that I see them feets I am not so sure that was such a good idea.....*snicker*... but it sure was fun!
Do I need to tell you Pete is the blue one?
Thanks again Jen!

I love this tutorial...
I turned my Jen birds into bottle stoppers, the one still on the mandrel suffered from thermal cracking so he will stay on the mandrel and live in a plant.
The chaos bird was a real challenge. The release broke before I had the beak and the eyes on, it was all I could do to finish it without the entire thing falling on to my lap!
Thanks for this tutorial Jen!

Those are adorable, Bead Maven!
I love them as wine stoppers, Elleth!
No torch for me yesterday! I can't wait for Friday - maybe I'll get some time to torch then
