Default Just had to share this: I think I will finally go "out of round" !!!

Yes!!!!! I'm gonna DO IT this time!! Make beads other than donutty roundies, for a change! Yay!!!

I'm just feeling goofy and happy today because I got my lab work back, and all is perfectly fine! I had not had my blood drawn in SO long, and was worried about my cholesterol because I eat a lot of meats, dairy, and eggs on my low carb diet.

I got lucky and grabbed a Zoozii Lentil Trio in the Garage last night, and wow, this is the first press I have bought (and will keep this time!) in a loooong time! Years ago I had over $400 worth of presses, mostly Zooziis, and had to give them up to pay bills. I sold all in the Garage in no time at all.

I do have a CoonValley masher, and I kept the Zoozii Kalera trio that was a gift to me. I have used it rarely, but damn no way was I ever going to sell something that was a gift! I will use that one too, someday. I love the Kalera shape! The largest one in the trio can be used for small squeezed beads.

I have some beads I got from Amy (of Zooziis) a long time ago, a Christmas exchange I think, and they are so beautiful! They are a set of six lentils and an x-large pillow bead, in swirls of teal and raspberry on white. I showed those to my husband a couple of weeks ago, and he says, "Cool! Can you make some like that??"

I will need some practice, and these days I have more patience, so I won't give up so easily and let the press ust sit and collect dust. After 6 1/2 years of making round beads, sigh.....I'm really tired of it. LOL!

For those of you who have seen me post something like this before, I DO mean it this time!!!! heehee

Well, I can't wait to see them!

Meanwhile, can you please send me your ability to make perfect, balanced, matching donuts?
