Default HELP

Hello lampworkers.

Does anyone know how this gem is made. I think technique or tutorial.
The bead is form Trollbeds and the name is unique lovely pink braid, but it can be other collors. It is like BRAID-pattern.
Thank you. Devana

It looks like dots on alternating sides and then a *small* gravity swirl. I've done that kind of design that way before.

I think Meliisa is right, but the base bead needs to be a disk so that the dots will spread like that......

I believe Jim was the original apple core bead maker.

Jim Smircich did the technique originally, he's got a tutorial out there somewhere I think.

Default Pink braid bead

Just found this thread from a few years back. I've been interested in the braid technique, headed out to the studio to experiment in a few minutes.

The braid is definitely alternating dots gravity swirled. I've made a ton of them.

I got one like that by accident. Did the alternating dots on diskish and melting it down it got away from me...

I doubt I have any pictures. I made them as part if my production when I used to make beads. It's been years since I've made any. If I find any photos, I'll post them.
