Default I haven't ordered Dark Ivory in years!

And I've finally run low enough to justify buying more. I have both Vetrofond and Effetre Dark Ivory, and both are probably from 2004 or therabouts. I'm sure they're somewhat different now.

I like the curdly/streaky tan effect of Dk Ivory, so when comparing Effetre and Vetrofond's most recent versions, is there any preference? If you've bought one or the other fairly recently, say, within the last couple of months, I'd love to hear what you think.

Thanks so much,
Sarah

These have silvered dark ivory and were made with Effetre's latest batch from Howaco Glass:

From a relative "newbie", I have found that I get much more variations (streaks, curdling, etc) from my Vetro Dk Ivory, than from my Moretti/Effetre Dk Ivory. I am a Dk Ivory hoarder, though!! The last few batches I got from Mike @ Frantz are my absolute favorite, although I got some of the translucent from Reenie @ FlameKissed, and I love it, as well.

I believe the Effetre Dark at Frantz now is still from the 2nd batch of Curdled Ivory that he got - it is a REALLY nice dk ivory. LOVE it.

Thanks, everyone!

Maybe I'll just get both. I wanted to avoid that since I use dk ivory so rarely and need the room for other glass... but I guess if I go that route, I won't have to buy any more ivory for another six years.
