Cheeta or Lynx on two M-10s?
I'm looking to upgrade my torch and was wondering what is the biggest GTT torch I could run on two M-10 oxycons?

I tried my Cheetah on a 5 LPM and 7 LPM match and it didn't perform too well. For soft glass it might have been ok, but for Boro you need the pressure that standard concentrators don't have. That setup worked well for the Lynx though.

That set up should work for a Lynx.

Ok I am forever trying to zero in on my next torch upgrade. There is just to many darn decisions
How would a Nortel Red Max work on two M-10s?
I am trying to find the best, hottest torch I can that would run on two M-10s.

Cheeta or Lynx on two M-10s
I'm currently running a Lynx on (1) M-15, which by my math ,was less than buying two M-10s. I can do boro marbles to 1 1/2 in and implosion pendents no problem. It's hot as the gates of hell for such a decievingly small torch face. My oxy tank looks ashamed in the corner. And it should.
Just my opinion

They should run a Lynx just fine and a Cheetah for soft glass and small boro beads. You should also be able to run the centerfires of the larger two staged four-stud GTTs (and three staged six stud GTTs) with two 5 LPM concentrators.
I have had customers run a RedMax for soft glass with the 10 LPM units that I sell. However, there is a difference between in the output of a single 10 LPM unit and that of two 5 LPM units run in tandem. A larger unit will always outperform two smaller units on midsized and larger torches like the RedMax. So, you may not be as happy with a RedMax on two M-10s. They should run the upper part (Minor or premix) by itself just fine, though, if you have seperate feeds for it.

Or you could buy a Regalia. I'm running a Lynx on that and it's pretty hot!

If I have two M-10s would that equal 20psi or do I still just have 10psi x 2?
Edit....
Never mind, someone explained to me it would only increase my LPM's having two machines. Duh! lol

so what can it do?

so if the regalia is the concentrator to go with the lynx, can you tell me the size of boro rod it would be capable of melting with ease ie 1/2 inch rod ?is it possible to also do boro marbles to 2 inch dia thanks for your help!!!!!
Wonder what 2 regalias would put out in lpm and psi ?

ill agree with some others and say the lynx...while the cheetah is an AWESOME torch you really really need the pressure of the O2 behind it to have it perform really well....at least that was my personal experience....

That's a kinkster question for sure. Ihave not had time to melt any boro on it yet! Flamedame is keeping me real busy! I've run a Cheetah on LOX though and I wouldn't even consider running it on anything less....
Paula
p.s. Cheetah on LOX= easily 4 to 5 inch boro beads...

perhaps the difference is I primarily was working boro...and what I was working on and the colors I wanted I just could not get with the concentrators I had available. I could afford tanked oxy before I could afford a regalia so thats what I did....and I had great results with the higher pressure and purity.

I have some flame measurements of the Cheetah on the Regalia around here somewhere - I'll look for them and try to post them soon.
