Default Old Carlisle torches

Hi, I am looking for any tips about the worth of Carlisle torches. Trying to value a studio buy out from a retiring scientific glass blower in which there are three carlisle bench burners, all in good working order. Possibly between 30 and 45 years old.
Any help would be great, thanks in advance.
Cas

If they are all in good condition valves and everything I would guess around $500-$600 a piece if you bought all three. I dont see as much demand for CC's as much as I used to it seems like you see a lot more people who prefer a GTT or Herbie.

Are they CC's or a CC+ or what model?

i'd jump on it if they're old cc's. even if the torch face is all trashed it's pretty easy to resurface them, or so i'm told. one of the guys who taught me a thing or two uses an old cc, like, really old.
he spent about 3 hours one day with a dremel and it's got a like-new face now.
they're bullet proof!

Wow $600! Seems like a lot, can't you get a new one for 1200 to 1400? I need to find out what models they are but I reckon just cc's. Thanks for the help.

I have a CC that is many years old. Still runs like a champ. It has been knocked off the bench a couple times, fallen out of a moving car, and it still runs great.

There's a reason you see so many of them around. They are bulletproof.

Well there is a rumor stating that on every Apollo mission they had a Carlisle torch on board.
I managed to find this rare photo where you clearly can see a torch station on the ground with gas and oxygen connected to a Carlisle CC

I wonder if it's still up there...

hummm... i guess NASA pioneered the quarter moon shaped base like the one in the pic has.... cause carlisle was still using the older shaped horse shoe base in the 1960s
That must be where they got the idea for the new shape of base... hummm..
hehe
I LOVE my CC.... use it every day for everything!!
i own a Gtt too but its damn hard to beat that cc
