Default glow in the dark beads?

OK not our lampwork but does anyone know what is used in the new Austrian?
beads that are called glow in the dark?

being very old myself i remember glow in the dark watch dials 50 years ago... radio active paint... a lot of the people working in the factories died of cancer...they had the habit of re-wetting the tip of the brush with saliva...

I am sure it isn't radioactive but what ARE they using and do glow in the dark beads appeal to people REALLY...maybe KIDs teenagers... OK I am showing my age... just checking... I am curious

I'm guessing phosphorescent powders, like what we have for lampworking.

I think i know which ones you're talking about, they're czech. One of my wholesalers has them in now. Very interesting idea, but I don't see a mass appeal of them, esp the leaves. Teens and clubbers maybe, but do they have time to make or shop artsy places?
