Default Ocean Bead Help

Hi there,

I really would like to try my luck at making an ocean style bead. I have searched the tuts but haven't really found anything. I know Moth has a tut similar with jellyfish but I was hoping for something free...I have to curb my spending.

Any tips or suggestions?

Carol

Soda Lime Times had a great tut May 2013 by Angie Gemsa. I made several beads using it and they turned out well. You can get just the one issue for around $7, I think.

Yeah, I was going to mention that SLT issue too, I heard it was really good.

Pulling up "Ocean bead, tutorial" here in search shows at least one free one, although it was demo'ed on a marble. There was also some free ones by Mary (Moth). Really good and might get you started at least.

Free is good but Mary Lockwood's Jellyfish Seascapes tutorial is exquisite and has details for every aspect of her wonderful bead and it is priced below value at $10 right now and has an instant download. I am amazed at the techniques in this tutorial.

Oh my God, that is one hell of a deal for that tutorial ! I have several of Mary's tuts and believe me, they are ALL well worth every single cent. But 10 bucks for THAT tutorial alone is just amazing. So much in that tutorial. Her freebie is pretty great but this one gives all her secrets.
