I just realized that I never did post the pix of this I said I would. I love the way the pix turned out - except I guess I should have had a manicure before I took the pix.

Oh man I got some cranberry pink today and so far I think it is to die for!I bet you could make killer encased florals with it!In my opinion it is alot better than rubino.

Default CIM cranberry, clockwork, elphaba, clear, peace.

Hey everyone. I think this will be the third time I have posted these beads... I was just testing this color for the last couple of days.... I even did a test with clockwork. It doesn't hate pink like rubino does. You can actually make orange and pink beads without the nasty brown lines!! Anyways... I will attach some pics below...

Here are some beads made with Cranberry-1 and Cranberry-2, Elphaba, Moretti lt grass green, Moretti yellow green, and Moretti dark rose...

As you can see they are very comparable to Moretti's colors, only... they are BETTER!
The Elphaba doesn't swallow dots and it's not mushy! The clear is very soft and clear. The only thing I am having issues with is the Cranberry eventually going butterscotchy if worked for a long period of time. This could be due to my HH. I really don't know since I don't have my minor hooked up.

What did eveyone else find? Here are some pics of that butterscotchy thing I am talking about... This is Cranberry-2, and Cranberry-2 over peace with elphaba stringer etched.

Here is an image of the Cranberry-1 encased with CIM clear where the butterscotchy is really apparent, but kind of pretty..

Here is a lentil that got really butterscotchy...

and the back..

Here are some beads made using Clockwork and Cranberry-1..

The clockwork is a very beautiful intense orange.

It doesn't blend well though. I tried to make a rainbow bead and the orange was like, "Nope!! my bead! Move out of the way pink!"

So what do you all think? Here are my findings. I am going to report everything to Kathy when I am completely finished with all of the colors. I have been kinda working all over the place so I have only totally completed the one on Simple Berry. Give me some feed back and your thoughts. Thanks

Much love,

Genea

I can tell you that if it goes up to 1500 ish, due a kiln programming error...it's still a really pretty pink, LOL, though in blobs rather than beads.

I made a pile of test beads, then screwed up the programming on my controller!

I'll be re-doing them in a couple of days.
