Default Help!! Need a deep chocolate effetre color

Hey glassy peeps!
I am trying to find and or mix a color brown that matches that new Vera Bradley pattern "Carnaby" !!! I have found the lighter brown which is Tamarind but the dark brown and dard red brown are not right for the dark brown in the print. I have mixed several combos to no avail. Is there a new brown out there in the 104 palette or does anyone have a suggestion???? I cannot upload a picture of it because it will not let me and i do not have the pattern. for a store!

I'm assuming this is the material you're referring to:

As for available browns, I think Dark Red Brown would work! I use it in my chocolate beads and the brown is perfect when combined with other colors. Here's a picture of one of my chocolate beads: http://ny-image2.etsy.com/il_430xN.32172694.jpg

However, if you're really worried about the perfect brown, you may want to try layering a transparent Czech brown over another color to achieve your desire shade. I love Czech Dark Smokey Topaz. Here's a link:

Good luck!

Lauscha Cocoa is an option ?? I don't know what "Carnaby" looks like, so I don't know how dark of brown you're looking for. http://www.glassdaddy.com
Good Luck !

The effetre brown 444 comes in various colors of brown. You might ask the Frantz people to send a more choco brown..?

Try Lauscha Cocoa. It looks like the perfect match to me.

Does Lauscha Cocoa change when it's been in the flame? I've seen pics from suppliers on the net, and I've even seen the rods in person, and they look mostly gray. I'd like to know this because I'm also eager for a good chocolate brown.

Although I must admit, Karla's use of Dark Red Brown has given me a serious craving for chocolate covered cherries.

Angie, Cocoa only gets gray if it is not getting enough oxygen. Paula

cocoa brown from Lauscha is lovely - keep the oxy up to prevent it from taking on a purplish/grey caste.
