Question about heart and flowers
OK I tried to encase a flower that was plunged on the heart. It is a little cruddy.
Now how do you do this?
Make the heart first then put the flowers on it?
Do the usual of placing the dots and then make the flower then make the heart?
Really stymied here.

Ya know, why don't you just invite Tasha over here and see if she'll tell us the whole scoop!?!
And if she's not ready to reveal her secrets quite yet, maybe she can be talked into doing a tutorial! (WINK!)
I'd love to know too...

YOU should PM her, Rose, and give her a link to this ( YOUR!) thread!
As far as I'm concerned, though, if she decides to keep this technique private and her very own for now, I totally respect that! Hey, a girl has to have a FEW secrets, right?

Hi Rose,
I make lots of floral in all kinds of shapes. When making a heart I start with a very basic flattened SMALL heart shape & just keep adding vines & petals. Don’t try to push it into a heart shape, just keep adding glass where it is needed. Start small as it can get big very quickly when you are adding layers between petals. I do use heat & gravity to shape but not enough to distort the flowers.

Those are beautiful Kerry! I especially love the orange flower! *Sigh* - someday maybe I will be able to do a decent floral!! I always seem to get one or two flowers that look ok and then the others on the bead seem to want to march to their own drummer! Hope springs eternal tho.......
