Exclamation Need knowledgable people to help!!!

Ok so I torch at a class with a minor . I want to set up my HH at home to practice and make a bead or 2 a couple times a week. Problem is I do not have a seperate place to do this away from my home so I want to set it up in a corner of the room near a window . Hubby is not sure this is good so....

1) can I even do this hobby?
2) what do I need for ventilation with the HH if I only use it a couple of hours at a time?
3)where do some of you torch if you don't have a seperate building?

I am starting to get worried my hubby will nix this before I even have a chance please help me with some safe ideas I am soo sad .

You still need ventilation, several have set up in a corner/kitchen/spare room near a window/sliding glass door and made temporary studios

A box fan in the window blowing the air out may be adequate, but it depends on the geometry of the room. How far from the window do you plan to torch? The closer the better, as being further away allows more of the "good" room air to get sucked out. I can tell you from experience that being 10+ feet from the fan in a large basement is NOT sufficient ventilation.

I will be right next to the window and there are 4 pretty big windows in the room . I will eventually be moving to the back sun room with 12 windows which will be perfect , but I don't want to wait until then to start torching. my hubby thinks me need a whole overhead exhaust type fan ?

One thing you need to take into account is that you need to be able to see your flame and the colors on your glass. If there is too much light, this is difficult so working right next to a window can be a problem. There can also be issues with the flame moving around, although maybe with a HH they wouldn't be as bad than with a dual-fuel torch.
