I just melted a rod of Ghee - lovely colour! Tried it with raku so we'll see what happens! I left one and reduced the other. I did find it shocky though (but I haven't worked much with opal-type colours). I lost at least a quarter of a rod - I'll try preheating it in the kiln next time.

Alright, I caved and bought some Kryptonite, Dirty Martini, Chalcedney, and dusk....Arffff!! I was TRYING to save some money!!
Anyone get to play with these yet?

I agree, I have worked with Heffalump (I find it very easy to work with, especially with raised work and the pureness of the colour is fab.
Sangre is a little tricky with keeping the red but once you get the rhythm for the heat, the red is phenomenal.
