Default How much is Z-99 selling for now?

I asked this question in the Garage and it probably wasn't the best place to put it, so I deleted that thread just now. I have some of this frit in a chunky size, like #2 and would like to sell it, but I want to know what it is currently selling for. Is it being sold online anywhere right now? Ebay?

One person mentioned that the powder was selling for $10 an ounce, so I would like some more input. I don't want to hike the price up too high to be fair and at the same time I don't want to shortchange myself either, lol.

If you have any info on selling prices of this color, please let me know either here or in a PM.

It's already way over $100 a lb - the last sales I have seen were $10 an ounce.

It's hard to research prices of glass sold in the garage sale because those threads get deleted. I sold Z-99 rods for $200 per pound recently. So that's $12.50 per ounce. I could be wrong, but I don't think it makes much difference which form it's in. I'd just go by the weight. It's worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it at this point.

Great, thanks for your input!

It will be another week before I can get this together so my next post will be to put it up in the Garage.

My husband just brought the frit and it weighs at 4.9 ounces. It's the #2, I'm sure. I'll take pics of it as soon as I can get some baggies, cuz I'm out of those and I need them anyway for my bead sets.

Thanks, I'll make a note of that in the Garage post when I get it up there, but I'll include pics so the buyers can be the judge of what size frit it is. All I know is that it's "chunky" in my book.

Sold all of it in the Garage today, wow! That was quick!

I have about .5oz left and I don't know whether I would keep it or not. Probably not. I may just RAOGK it, so who that will be I will have to see and go through the list.

Or better yet, if anyone would like to suggest someone I could send it to, please let me know!

Is Z99 the same as the Purple Rose frit Val Cox was selling a few years ago? It looks the same, but...

I have some of the chunky Z99 too, and would love to grind it down to smaller bits. Should I invest in one of those little coffee grinders?

That shop won't let me finish checkout and says they do not ship to the selected country (US).

I've got a 1 ounce bag of the fine frit that I got from ThatFritGirl last year, so this one I will hoard. Found it last night in my huge stash, but I'm sure it's the only Z-99 I have left. LOL!

Just heat it in the kiln and then drop in water. If you grind it, it will grind up more easily, but you may not need to.

Someone on here sold 3-1 lb bundles of rods on Ebay..the first 2 went for about 300 dollars per pound.I think she was only going to sell one pound but when the first went that high..she sold another pound..then the third(I think she sold a third)...I have bought bits and pieces here and there since last year..I am happy with my supply of powder, few sizes of frit and some big rod chunks. If you had 300 to spend on glass..what would you spend it on? Just curious..lol...I think my couple pounds of mixed sizes will last me a very long time.

I've sold some of the frit and rods but there still is some available. I'm going to put the frit on my website and the rods are going on Ebay... last chance to get them at a decent price ... see my post in the Garage sale
