Where? FlameTree Glass, Inc. in Historic Roswell, Georgia 30075 (ATL, GA)
Class Cost: $425.00
Instructor: John Kobuki
When? Feb 25/26 2012

Class description:

This class will explore the “compression” technique used to make flowers and other deeply encased designs, utilizing solid rods of borosilicate into marbles and pendants. Students will learn "color overlays" and "tooling" tricks for more interesting layered petal and leaf designs. There will be a strong emphasis on heat and flame management and why "compression" is the dynamic force in this technique. At least one year of borosilicate lampworking required. Intermediate to advance students recommended.

Don't wait, this class fills very very quickly!
