Wow, that is some amazing glasswork. (I am glad I don't have your nightmares though.)

I really need to take a hollow forms class one of these days. Any recommendations?

Just to add to the mix. Sorry, the pic is crappy. This is what I was whining about in the other cold glass/hot kiln thread. Hmm. the taller one looks crooked in that pic. Maybe it is.

I am happy how this finally came out. I dropped the first two on the floor while moving into the kiln. Third time is the charm.

The ring came out well too.

Here's a few things I made yesterday. Has anyone seen the Feb/Mar issue of Glass Line magazine? There's a tutorial by Rob Morrison on how to do a wig-wag marble in it. I didn't have the exact supplies, so I modified it to what I had. This is the biggest marble I have EVER made. (1 7/8 ") The back didn't turn out exactly as I would have liked, but it'll just have to do!!

Following that are some strawberries. I wanted to make some chocolate covered ones for my wife, but didn't have any chocolate.

The front of that marble is awesome and the strawberries don't always need chocolate.

Love the wigwag marble. I'm taking a break from melting glass so now I just get to admire!

This has been a wonderful gallery so far, I have enjoyed it tremendously. Whenever I get better at taking photos I will have to join in. Kim I am really loving what you have been doing. Chris those are truly scary in a good way LOL. Marcel I would love to learn the reticello as well. Pipyr OMG girl I have been so stalking your ebay one of these days I am going to get one of those matchbox encaustics they are unbelievably cool. Greg i love that marble and your strawberry is great. Bec those are really getting good you are getting the goblet thing. I know I missed a bunch more but that is all I could think of off the top of my head....Bravo everyone!

Here is what I have been up to lately. The pieces are wet in this pic, so you can't tell that I need another 4 stages of polishing on each of them. Oh joy!

Thanks a bunch, guys! There is really some amazing work in here. I still remember the earlier days of the boro S&Ts...I think we've all improved, huh?

Marcel, that sculpture rocks. How big is it?

Meker, the matchboxes are real matchboxes with wax painted on them. The eyes are glass And nope, never worked with quartz. Some day...maybe.
