Great work all. How do you get that daffodil look? Also looking for a lily implosion.

Hmmm. Did I ever show these? I hope not. They're a wee bit wonky but I love the colors.

OK I'm going to stick my foot in the water again. I've been working with boro one day each weekend for the last two months. These are my second attempt at a spider implosion following the terrific utube instruction from VOIC.
I know I have a lot of work to do but I think I have a handle on what's happening with the implosion so I understand what the glass is doing. I'm taking a class with John Kobuki in January and I hope I'm not in over my head I'm really excited though.

Roberta- I agree with Kim. You'll be fine in John's class! John is an amazing instructor. He does a lot of things differently that I do (stringers, twisties, coated stringers, etc), so I got to see a bunch of other ways for doing things. You'll learn a lot of techniques that you can apply to other glasswork as well. I don't make many marbles, but I use John's techniques for pendants a lot.

Paula, very nice implosions and heart.
Deb, very cool ornaments. I just got a tut for them and I can't wait to try them out.
Fiona, very nice pendants.
Lori, very nice beads. What color did you use for them?
Roberta, wow, very cool spider.
Here is a marble I made yesterday. I'm in the Intermediate challenge and it is for fish scale beads. I am "bead challenged" so I made a marble using the same technique. It's cool, you can see the inside of it from the back side. I hope everyone has a great Turkey Day.

Thanks goes out to VOIC for the great utube.

Ah ha ha ha ha! The eye's have it. Awww!
Cool marble, Dave. I like that you can see through the back side. I'd like to afford a marble mold soon. About my beads.. I really don't know what color those are. I'm having an affair with Solara so probably that and a layer of AP, maybe.
Hope you all had a rad Turkey day. (Yes, I said "rad" because I melt boro and I'm cool like that. lol!)

You don't need a marble mold. I don't have one. It just makes it quicker.
