You're supposed to clean them?

Seriously, I use the Right Guard method...swipe under the arm and I'm good to go.

Most of my shirts have grunge stains on the lower lefthand front from wiping glass and most of my pants have issues from wiping off my graphite marvers on my thigh. lol If they're really bad and haven't been used in years I do what Larry does with the iso.

I am too lazy to clean most of them but I do wipe clean the clear ones with rubbing alcohol.

I've been toying around with the pickling process. It does make a difference.

There is a great thread about pickling. I use the vinegar solution on my clears.

I use the pickle method for all clears and transparents. Rubbing alcohol for everything else including dust that accumulated since pickle.

My arm pit....just kidding!

Alcohol and paper towels but if they have that rubber band gunk or cat pee (yes, cat pee and dog pee too in my boxes kept on the floor) then I use a plastic scrubber and Dawn to get them clean. (the scrubber is used for this purpose only, of course)

This. I've also been known to use the "armpit" or "between the knees" method if my alcohol mysteriously disappears from my table.

armpits??? LMAO!

i use rubbing alcohol or white vinegar if i run out. i guess i must be anal cuz i wipe down my glass and all presses, tools etc. before starting each torching session. i'm always surprised how much dust and residue builds up on them, especially if (like) me you don't get to torch very often.

for rags, i just use raggedy old bath or tea towels torn up into squares.

LOL! About 10 or 12 years ago, I flew from FL to Chicago to take a class with Pati Walton! Her encasing was so clear & sparkling (and that was back in the day when clear was just plain old clear), I was sure she had some wonderful secret for cleaning. You guessed it -- she just used the old armpit polish & go!!!
