Fire Lotus vs. Terranova 2
Hi,
I've managed to mix up my Fire Lotus and Terranova 2 glass rods. Anyone know how to tell them apart now?

If you know what colors are specific to each rod, maybe try melting the tips of each rod and smashing them, then compare your findings to sort the rods?

With me the fire lotus is a light beige color, ande the terranova 2 a dark brown/blue. I don't no if it is different for diff. batches but colors are very different.

Fire Lotus rods are beige with hints of other colours in them (e.g. pink, blue, green, etc.)
TerraNova2 rods are dark brown.
At least that's how mine are.

Yay.
The rods I have are closer in color than it sounds like you have, but the lighter ones do have hints of blue and green in them. They must be the Fire Lotus.
Looks like I have to be a bit more careful in storing the rods.
Thank you very much!

Fire Lotus will kiln strike to a red. Maybe you could try that.

Fire Lotus can vary WIDELY from batch to batch, and from top to bottom. Often chocolate brown in the rod, but also often tan. Often a tan core, or a greenish core. Sometimes striped, occasionally mauve or barely celadon green if it's from the top of the batch.
