Looking for disc/washer metal beads
Hello,
I am looking for nice/good priced, metal beads. Need washer or disc shapped beads with small holes==for stringing.
I have searched the internet, but not found what works for me.
I would love and appreciate suggestions.

What size and metal are you looking for? Do you want silver, brass, copper, something else? And hole size, how small is small?

beads
Susan,
beads--copper, brass, stainless steel, nickle----
6-10mm
hole size-some beads---small-to thread on a string
hole size-some with larger holes---the size of a seed bead
Thank you for responding.

Ellen - I use these: http://www.objectsandelements.com/sh...-washers-c-129. I use the large disks that are 6mm. Their holes might be bigger than you want. I use them in my bracelets.
I also use these flat disk washers from Karen Thomas. They are 8mm and have a larger hole: http://www.karenthomas.us/catalog.as...58544&detail=1
The also come in gold. What's good about these is they fit 3/32" bead holes and sometimes I use clear tubing so my beads don't wobble and these fit on the clear tubing. That way I don't have to cut short pieces for every bead. Then I string Soft Flex through the tubing and finish the ends.
Let me see if I can find some with smaller holes.

You may have to cut flat discs the diameter you want, dap them, and solder them together to get the size / hole you need. Or you may have to purchase washers from smallparts.com or other places like that (MicroMark, American Science and Surplus) and drill the holes yourself.

I like Tierracast's spacers but I don't know if that's out of your price range.
